Start at the end parking lot at Smelt Bay and walk around the corner along the beach. There is a beautiful sandy beach with tidal pools and rocky area's as well. Every year Cortes Island hosts their annual sand castle contest on this beach. AIL youth helped us hide this cache along the shoreline. Look for sea grass, sand banks and lots interesting logs along the shoreline. Thus the name "Rockerlogger"! Beautiful views of Vancouver islands mountains, Middlenatch and the best sunsets you'll see anywhere. We hid a FTF coin and two trackables along with lots of loot to make for a great reward after a long beach walk.
