With Springs arrival, it is time to hide a new cache.
This park has been has been thru some changes over the years, a former farm, brickworks, landfill, sports fields, and has now become part of the Te Whau Pathway.
To make launching your boat easier the boat ramp has been upgraded and now includes a floating pontoon.
There are plans for more developments; a childrens playground, waka ama storage building and some mountain bike tracks. But things move slowly, so for now enjoy all that the park has to offer, with the bonus of a couple of other caches that are hidden nearby too.
If you are keen to walk the loop it takes about 20 mins, or 10 minutes to cycle. This is about 1950 steps or 1.5 km.
The park is also busy with owners and their dogs getting some exercise fun.
