A waterfall on the Crinnagh river which runs down alongside nearby Cromaglan mountain.
The wood is locally known as Tower wood, and the tower ruins can be found at the marked waypoint. The ruins are well over 150 years old and best accessed from the wood land - for safety don't walk along the road. It's no more than a minutes walk.

Follow the track (such as it is) from the parking lay-by through the wood, keeping the Crinnagh river to your right as you progress for guidance. Before too long you will hear, and then see, the waterfall.
Scramble up along the left of the waterfall for a more dynamic view, and explore the area around GZ.
If you progress along to the additional waypoint you will see Torc Mountain from a rarely viewed angle. The Old Kenmare Road is off in the distance, but not visible (or accessible) from here.
Terrain is not difficult but can be overgrown, muddy and quite uneven. My 8 year old and I had great fun placing the cache on Fathers Day - we hope you will have as much fun finding it!
Park with care - there is room for 1-2 cars, but the road is narrow and winding so due consideration is required. Note too that mobile reception is pretty much non-existent.
