The Buddhist temple in Canberra, was established in 1983. It has been a work in progress ever since and progressed along way .
The temple facilitates community services, charitable/relief activities, education, monastic training and personal/family counselling. They offer youth/women/aged groups activities, chaplaincy services, meditation groups, public library and free books on Buddhism. There was an official opening ceremony as a temple,after its first 17 years of construction
His Excellency Sir William Dean, Regent for the Queen Elizabeth II of Australia was the chairman of the opening ceremony of this temple on January 23 rd ,2000.
A micro is well hidden at GZ. Stealth will be needed.A pen will be required to sign the log sheet. At times, the nearby Nursing Home staff stop by for staff breaks and often sit nearby,so use discretion. Please rehide the cache in the exact position you found it !
