In 2013, as a fairly new geoacher I decided I was going go to Las Vegas to try geocaching in the desert. I noticed that there was an event happening while I was there, a geo-poker run hosted by Gus & Clay. Not sure what it was but wanting to join in I decided to post a note on the event page asking if anyone had an empty seat in their vehicle and would welcome a crazy Canadian I would love to join them.
Not long afterwards I got a message from Trail Cachers inviting me to join their vehicle! We had a wonderful day that day and during the week we did some more caching together. That was the beginning of a wonderful friendship that I cherish to this day!
The first week of June this year I had the pleasure of visiting Wayne and Sandy in their home state of beautiful Wyoming. They were amazing hosts and took me to Yellowstone, Devil’s Rock, Mount Rushmore as well as many more beautiful places.
When leaving town I decided to place a cache as a tribute to this wonderful caching duo. Wonderful friends to everyone they meet and true ambassadors for the game! Cache on my friends.
