The Power Plant Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

South Beech Four: Thanks to Pineapple131313 and evanb29 for the notes as to damage. This is the third (and last) of my gadget caches to be destroyed by vandals. I will not be putting in the effort to repair this one. I repaired and replaced the last one to be vandalized (Name that Tune), only to have it be destroyed again shortly after. There must be real winners out there who seek these out, just to ruin them. They win.

Geocache Description:

The Power Plant

This cache is a re-creation of two different caches I once had in the field, that are now archived. One was unfortunately vandalized beyond repair, and the other, I had to archive becuase of my power supply not being happy in Canadian winters! If you get a sense of deja vu, it's because this cache is in the same location as one of these other two hides. Previous finders will recognize the box, but the cache has changed.

Fact: You will need to complete the circuit I have created to solve the cache and open the lock.

Fact: There would appear to be several ways to complete the circuit, but only one will bring a smiley

Fact: Calling 911 will get you emergency help if needed.

PLEASE ATTEMPT THIS CACHE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

People affected by flashing lights should take care

After completing the circuit, the cache will provide you with what's necessary to solve the combination lock, as long as you look at the cache correctly! Feel free to use any of the TOT's in the drawer, or try any other ways your noodle suggests :).

The first letter of the combination is S, for "smiley" The remaining three letters are the second letter each of the three colours the cache revealed when you completed the circuit.

Enter the combination so the letters are intersected by the vertical line on the lock.

Please put everything back as you found it and reset the lock. The combination must be set in order to close the lock. Close the shackle & hold closed, while mixing the letters. Be sure to put the lock back on so the vertical line is facing front. Please do not give anything away about this cache in your logs!

The cache provides the only tool you need for this cache. Please do not try to unscrew or remove any of the screws or bolts. This will only damage the cache.

As always, if this cache needs attention, please let us know by putting something in the online log or by email

We hope you enjoy this one!

_cacherintherye_ & BushKing get a big congratulations for co-FTF!!
