Filling squares and making memories!
One of the oldest and most popular geocaching challenges is the Jasmer Challenge. To complete the challenge, you must fill your Jasmer grid by finding caches placed in every month since geocaching began in May 2000. The Jasmer Challenge inevitably becomes more difficult as time passes. First, because with each new month, there is another required cache to find. Also, there are fewer active caches available from the early years.
To learn more about this exciting challenge, we will be meeting at Sunset Mini and RV Storage, 16501 NW Twin Oaks Dr, Beaverton, OR 97006 on Thursday July 18th from 7:00-7:30 am. Here, we will have a short, 30 minute Meet and Greet to talk about everyone's Jasmer grid and get a sense of what each individual cacher may need to qualify for their Jasmer.
After this short meet and greet, there will be a group of cachers embarking on an epic quest to try and fill their Jasmer grid. We'll talk with those cachers and learn their thoughts on being crammed in a 12 passenger van with each other for the next 6 days. Sardines anyone? Hahahaha!
The road may be long and sometimes tiresome, but the memories made along the way will last forever! (or at least until we forget)
