Welcome to the Annapolis County Lighthouse Series of geocaches! There are 6 lighthouses in Annapolis County; some on the mighty Bay of Fundy, and some along the shore of the Annapolis Basin. Each cache contains postcards with the details of that specific lighthouse (whilie supplies last). Collect all 6 and send proof to the County of Annapolis Office at 752 St. George St, Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia, and you will receive a trackable geocoin! The recreation team are available Monday to Friday 9am to 4.30pm.
About the Victoria Beach Lighthouse
This lighthouse is 8 meters tall and was constructed in 1901. The lighthouse was instrumental in supporting the area as ship building, fishing, and the apple industry progressed. It is extremely valued by the community because of its rich maritime culture. Located at Battery Point on the east side of the Digby Gut.
