About the Victoria Beach Lighthouse

This lighthouse is 8 meters tall and was constructed in 1901. The lighthouse was instrumental in supporting the area as ship building, fishing, and the apple industry progressed. It is extremely valued by the community because of its rich maritime culture. Located at Battery Point on the east side of the Digby Gut.
