Welcome to the Annapolis County Lighthouse Series of geocaches! There are 6 lighthouses in Annapolis County; some on the mighty Bay of Fundy, and some along the shore of the Annapolis Basin. Each cache contains postcards with the details of that specific lighthouse (while supplies last). Collect all 6 and send proof to the County of Annapolis Recreation Office at 271 Granville Street Bridgetown, Nova Scotia, and you will receive a trackable geocoin! The recreation office is only open from 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Friday.
Due to distance requirements between caches, the Final is located away from the lighthouse, accessible from Shore Road. Simply solve the puzzle below.

About the Hampton Lighthouse
This lighthouse was built in 1911 for $585. When first built the light house used a kerosene lamp, which had to be lit every evening and put out each morning. Eventually the lighthouse upgraded to an electric lamp in the 1940’s. On November 15th, 2007 the lighthouse was designated a Provincial Heritage Property.
Be sure to go into this lighthouse if you are fortunate enough to visit when it is open!
