This collection of caches has nothing to do with the Church Micro series in the UK. Given that the Australian 2016 census indicates that No Religion and Jedi Knight are the fastest increasing classifications of the optional religion question "What is the person's religion?" it is not surprising that there is surfeit of empty churches that have been repurposed.

Kermode Street Chapel has a fascinating history. Now a private residence, it has the name embossed on the façade. The gable features a fine iron ornament. Before this chapel was built for the Church of Christ in North Adelaide, the congregation worshipped at the Queen’s Head Hotel. Designed and built by Joseph Verco, the chapel’s gently elevated position, set off by the fence with cast iron railings, gives the building an enhanced streetscape prominence. Because the Verco family were actively involved in this chapel for many years, it was known as Verco’s Chapel.
Using the digits of the year ABBC embossed on the façade above the front door you can determine the location of the geocache.
