About Martin Village Hall

The village hall started its life a chapel which closed in 1936 when the congregation joined that of the Primitive Methodists in the chapel across the road, now Majestic Crystal.

There are records of three Wesleyan chapels in Martin; the first chapel may have been built in 1809 and was replaced by a new chapel in 1832 which was subsequently replaced by this chapel in 1860.

Regular events include cash bingo nights, pop up markets, a weekly slimming world meeting and a community pub once a month.

Please replace as found.
