Who: Anyone; This is a Family-Friendly Event!!

I am travelling to Philadelphia for a conference at the nearby Hotel & Convention Centre and although I won’t have much time for geocaching here, I decided I needed to at least host an event.

I will be arriving that evening so that’s why the event is scheduled for 8:00pm. Unfortunately this Dunkin’ Donuts closes at 8:30pm, but we can always take our party outside smiley

I chose this location for a few simple reasons: A. I’m staying nearby, and B. I haven’t been to a Dunkin’ Donuts in probably over a decade. I grew up in Eastern Canada (younger years) and have many fond memories at a Dunkin’ Donuts. I know, seems silly, but during the summer months we would often meet there after a swimming competition at our local outdoor community pool. So many fond memories there. Additionally, every so often my folks would hint at a ‘special dessert’ and I knew exactly what that meant… dad was heading off to DD to pick us up some treats. My personal favourite (mostly because I was a picky eater to begin with lol) was the simple honey glazed “twist” (I think that was the official name, but we referred to it as the ‘figure 8’). I always thought I made out better than the rest because my choice appeared much larger than all the other kinds 😉 . I now live in Western Canada, where there are no DD’s to be found so I can’t wait to get back there (please tell me they still make the “figure 8’s” LOL).

To make a long story short, come join me in making new memories as we gather to share stories. I would love to hear about the local ‘must-get’ geocaches and hopefully I will have the opportunity to find them!

This would also be a good opportunity to drop or exchange travel bugs that may want to head north (well, NW)! Or any other small, round, trade ‘coins’ (hint, hint)
