The cache is not on the main path but on a route through the woods that runs parallel. One access point has been given as a waypoint but there are several. I suspect the cache is only slightly smaller than the "affordable homes" that are to be included in the development.
At the moment this route is a quiet lane between Shepshed and Loughborough, popular with cyclists (it forms part of national route 6), dog walkers and runners. However, this is all set to change as construction starts on Garendon Park. This is a new town of 3200 houses which will be built between Shepshed, Loughborough and Hathern. It will be built in phases over 15 years starting 2020 and include 2 new primary schools. The restoration and opening up to the public of Garendon Park itself is also planned.
