With my departure being Shea Heights on the day that these caches were placed, this was our arrival goal: Freshwater Bay. If you are coming from the Freshwater Bay trailhead / parking area, this would be the place of your departure of the oceanside if you are headed towards Fort Amherst.
The cache is hangin' around by the bay.
Your approach can be easier or more challenging, so do not be in a rush to throw yourself in to the trees (unless you are a fan of bushwhacking - which I an not.) The cache is a 500mL screw top camo'd container, with the usual swag and a TB upon initial hide.
If you've come this far - regarless of direction - we recommend getting the last cache in this series at Gunner's Cove, only a few minutes walk away from here. It's quite a spot.
