Geocache Description:

Neve Shaanan.

One of the oldest neighborhoods in Haifa. The neighborhood is located on a flat spur in the Carmel, a good geographical location for a neighborhood on the mountain.
In the cache you will learn about the history of the neighborhood through road points in the route.
The neighborhood has been my home for the past 5 years during my academic studies, in the first and second degrees.
The 3 km route passes through historical points in the neighborhood, and there is almost no slope in the neighborhood, so it is recommended to follow the route on foot, there is a lot of shade and a wide sidewalk.
You can also take public transportation, with buses in the neighborhood.
