Hope you've enjoyed this new way up the hill from French Beach. You've come through the second clearcut now, the gruntiest part. When you find this cache, continue on up to the top of that rock outcropping and soak in the view. The power line road is just a few more meters up. From here you can continue on up to the Matterhorn, or hang a left to meet up with the Iron Maiden trail back down past the Priest's Cabin to the highway. Wood fired pizza at Stoked might even be a nice end of hike treat. Seas the day. 
Look for the Fickle Finger of Fate and you'll soon have the cache in hand. Behind a rock on one of its horizontal surfaces. This "finger" is called a barber chair, and is a very dangerous result of an improper felling. Many a logger has been killed by one of these.
