Caches are placed at a location which has usually some special interest, beauty or a favourite place previously visited.
Roadside caches, not always a favourite, and quite commonly used for speed (Cache and Dash (C&D)), normally have limited options.
This series of caches are primarily for the newbies and families with young children. Having to walk too far can be problematic and finding only the basic plastic containers, not too much fun for the wee ones?
This series are intentionally EASY to find. We are trying to demonstrate typical hide locations used by Geocachers.
NOVELTY HIDES.
These types of geocaching containers are out of the ordinary and come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit your desire. Imagine a geocaching container that resembles dog poop, a hedgehog, beetle, or bird. Inside these novel exteriors is another container, usually micro, which contains the log book. These geocaches are suitable for hiding wherever they will blend in with the surroundings. Novelty geocaching containers add an extra element of fun to the hobby of geocaching.
