RECYCLING HOUSEHOLD

If the recycled container originally held food, please be sure to wash it REALLY WELL so that the wildlife won't smell any residue that our noses might not detect. Wash the container with a solution of water and bleach (Parents supervision ESSENTIAL) and then in a dishwasher if you have one.

 

Many recycled containers are not that very strong. So, it’s a good idea to try to reinforce them by wrapping them with duct tape and then paint them or use the camo tape.  However, ALL containers are investigated by the local wildlife.  This is one of the reasons for regular maintenance.  Containers are chewed, nibbled, moved and sometimes destroyed.
