Geocache Description:

Welcome to the Knox County Park District GeoTrail

Honey Run Highlands Park is located at 10816 MIllersburg Road, Howard, another Park entrance is located at 10865 Hazel Dell Road, Howard.  The Knox County Park District aquired this 348-acre property across the road from Honey Run Waterfall.  Access to the site can be from one of three parking lots.  One parking lot is located across from the entrance and parking lot to Honey Run Waterfall at 10865 Hazel Dell Road Howard 43028. The other parking lots are located at 10816 Millersburg Rd. Howard 43028 (just north of the intersection of Caves Road and US 62).  The first lot can be seen from US 62 and the second lot can be accessed by driving the driveway towards the interior of the park.  At the second lot you will find a pergola shade structure with a picnic table and grill for your pleasure. There are several trailheads that will eventually intersect with one another. To begin the adventure locate Prairie Trail at the upper parking lot and walk until you find Bergamont Trail and C&C White Oak trail (this is the trail for you to follow)  The signage in this park needs improvement. Even though our Parks are open 24 hours we highly suggest you do not night cache in any of them.  We hope you enjoy searching for our Park Cache as this is just one of the (7) county parks to enjoy,.
