Geocache Description:

Between the hotels on Belgrave Road and the shopping on Union Street is Lucius Street. Lucius Street is filled with independent business including galleries, furniture shops, clothes shops, furniture shops, hair dressers and coffee shops.

Directly behind the cache is the Greek Orthodox Church of St Andrew. Formerly the CofE St. Saviours. The church was built in the 6th Century. It has a beautiful church yard with old established trees and historic headstones.

Looking right from the church with your back towards the cache you can see the arches behind St Efride’s road. It’s one of the hidden historical gems of Torquay. A double row of arches was set into the cliff face in the 19th century to provide a terrace garden for Lauriston Hall. The hall was demolished following World War Two. The arches all that remains.

Depending on the time of day you may require stealth.
