17 July 2019, 17:00 - 18:00

On our way from Pamporovo in Bulgaria to Ioannina we're passing by GC4K9PC at Lake Aliakmon. We thought it would be nice to have a break here but we were shocked about the amount of waste documented in the cache gallery so we decided to host a CITO event here to clean the place.

The "polluter pay principle" says that it's much easier to throw away litter when there's already something there. "If others do it, it's okay to do it as well". To prevent this, we're going to clean everything around the viewpoint and hopefully the next visitor will think twice before throwing something away.

The event starts around 6pm but since we have a quite long journey, this is subject to change. We'll keep you updated. The event lasts for an hour and will end at 6pm. We hope that some local cachers will join us and make their place a little better
