Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) is an environmental initiative supported by the geocaching community. Since 2002, CITOs have helped preserve the natural beauty of cache-friendly spaces with more than 365,000 people volunteering at events worldwide.
This year, Cache In Trash Out® (CITO) seasons have been extended from just one week, twice a year, to two entire seasons each three months long!
Combining CITO 2019’s Season 2 with a “meet & greet” while I briefly visit from out-of-state, join me at the posted starting co-ordinates (Mick Shamburg Park in Miami) between 4pm and 5pm on Sunday 8th September to give the park and beachside area between Rainbow Stairs and the North Burleigh Heads SLSC a bit of a clean-up. All attendees will also earn their official Season 2 souvenir.
Due to my travel restrictions limiting “hosted supplies”, can cachers please bring their own gloves, water and something to collect the rubbish. I will have a few spare garbage bags as back up and provide some afternoon tea so log a “will attend” as early as possible if you can make it.
