This cache is dedicated to the remains of a military fortification from the First World War, which were discovered by a Czech archaeological expedition in 2019. The fortification is located on the scarcely accessible peak of Mt Kendrevica (2,122 m), and because of the difficult access, it still remains largely archaeologically unexplored. These relics are also almost completely forgotten in the memories of local inhabitants.

As the site remains unexplored, every finder of the cache can contribute to its archaeological research and become an archaeologist for a while. We welcome photographs of trenches and other structures, as well as surface archaeological finds, whether within the fortification or in its immediate vicinity. Photographs of inscriptions (including transcriptions) and any historical information (including the source) that may help to illuminate wartime events on the mountain and in its surroundings in 1916 are also highly valued. GPS localisation of photographed places and finds is also welcome.

Reaching the top of the mountain:
It is possible to climb the peak from various directions, but given the tropical heat in the lower areas during the summer months, it is necessary to bring a sufficient amount of water. Near the peak, the only source of water is unmelted snow in shaded places, but the water from these sources is not safe to drink without boiling. If you plan to sleep at the top of the mountain, it is necessary to take into account the low temperatures there after sunset.

Tato keš je věnována pozůstatkům vojenského opevnění z období 1. světové války, které bylo nalezeno českou archeologickou expedicí v roce 2019. Opevnění je lokalizováno na těžko přístupném terénu vrcholu hory Kendrevica (2122 m. n. m) a díky obtížné dostupnosti zůstává dosud archeologicky neprobádáno. Takřka zcela zapomenuto je i v povědomí obyvatel okolních vesnic.
Pozůstatky zákopů, palebných postavení i staveb datuje trojice nápisů nalezená ve vodní nádrži nedaleko zákopové linie. Původ těchto pozůstatků minulých lidských aktivit přisuzují nápisy italskému expedičnímu sboru, který se měl na vrcholu Kendrevica opevnit v roce 1916.
Jelikož je naleziště dosud neprozkoumáno, každý z nálezců keše může přispět k archeologickému bádání a stát se tak na chvíli archeologem. Stačí k logu přiložit fotografie zákopů, dalších struktur či povrchových archeologických nálezů, ať již uvnitř opevnění, či v jeho bezprostřední blízkosti. Stejně tak cenné jsou fotografie nápisů (včetně jejich přepisů) a jakékoliv historické informace, které pomůžou osvětlit válečné události na a v okolí hory Kendrevica v r. 1916 (včetně zdroje, od nějž citované informace pochází). GPS lokalizace fotografovaných míst a dalších nálezů jsou vítány.
K výstupu na horu:
Výstup k vrcholu je možný z několika směrů, nicméně vzhledem k tropickým teplotám panujícím především v letních měsících v nižších polohách je třeba vybavit se dostatečnou zásobou vody. Na samotné hoře je jediným vodním zdrojem neroztátý sníh na stinných místech blízko vrcholu, odkud však voda není bez převaření pitná. Pro případ přespání na vrcholu je třeba také počítat s nízkými teplotami, které zde panují po západu slunce.

Kjo cache u kushtohet mbetjeve të një fortese ushtarake nga koha e Luftës së Parë Botërore, e cila u zbulua nga një ekspeditë arkeologjike çeke në vitin 2019.
Fortesa ndodhet në terren të ashpër afër majës së malit Këndrevica (2122 m mbi nivelin e detit), dhe falë kësaj mbetet ende shumë pak e zbuluar nga ana arkeologjike. Pothuajse është krejtësisht e harruar edhe nga banorët e fshatrave të afërta.
Mbetjet e llogoreve, stacionet e zjarrit dhe ndërtimet datohen sipas tre mbishkrimeve të gjetura në muret e tre depove të ujit pranë linjës së llogoreve. Sipas mbishkrimeve, këto i përkasin një njësie ushtarake italiane që u rrethua me llogore në këtë vend në vitin 1916.
Meqenëse ky vend është shumë pak i zbuluar, çdo vizitor mund të bëhet një arkeolog për një kohë të caktuar. Mirëpresim fotografi të llogoreve, strukturave të tjera, si edhe të gjetjeve sipërfaqësore arkeologjike, brenda ose jashtë fortesës. Gjithashtu mirëpresim fotografi të mbishkrimeve (përfshirë edhe kopjet) dhe çdo lloj informacioni historik që mund të ndihmojë për të hedhur dritë mbi ngjarjet e luftës në Majën e Këndrevicës dhe në afërsinë e saj në vitin 1916 (ju lutemi, përfshini edhe burimin e informacionit). Mirëpresim edhe koordinatat GPS të vendeve në fotografi dhe fotografi të vendeve të ndryshme.
Për sa i përket ngjitjes në mal: ngjitja mund të bëhet nga disa drejtime. Duke marrë parasysh temperaturat e larta, është e nevojshme të pajiseni me një sasi të mjaftueshme uji. I vetmi burim uji në majë është bora që shkrin ngadalë në hije. Në rast se dëshironi të kaloni një natë te stani pranë majës së malit, pas muzgut duhet të llogaritni temperatura të ulëta.
