Geocache Description:

16 August 2019, 19:00 - 20:30

Hey Geocachers, for the first time in the history of the DLA Mega events, Geocaching HQ is sending a Lackey to L&A

What is a Lackey you ask? Well its an employee of Geocaching HQ, they are chosen to attend Mega events across the world.

This year ktaylor211 will be making her way to the DLA2019 Mega, but we hear she will be arriving early.

To honor this special guest, we are hosting a Meet and greet, this is your chance to have a sit down chat and maybe ask a few questions about what a Lackey's roll in the game is.

CacheShadow (A community volunteer reviewer) has also graciously accepted an invitation to be in attendance to answer any caching related questions.

The event will start off with a general gathering from 7pm until 7:30pm where you can mingle and meet local cachers and those travelling from afar to be in L&A.

From 7:30pm until 8:30pm, join ktaylor211, Signal and the event comittee for a formal Q&A, Unfortunalty Signal will not be answering questions, something about having a frog in his throat.

The event will take place in the court yard of the County Museum and Archives , the Museum will be open to tour and is free for Geocachers and their families, just show your GPS or a geocaching app on your smart phone for entry.

Happy Caching and See you soon.
