A few years ago, I found "Thanks, Tom" (GC54VPW) while out on a caching drive with a young EtherMaster.
We drove down this road a little to turn around and it was here that we came across a farmer ploughing maize stubble into the ground.
I pulled over to let EtherMaster watch for a bit and he said "Out, please". I put him up on my shoulders and we stood at the fenceline watching the tractor for a bit.
When the tractor came near, EM waved to the driver and he stopped to say "hello". That's not all he said... he also invited us into the cab for a ride!
EM wasn't too sure about the big, noisy tractor, but I wanted a ride so he didn't get a choice; Up we went!
We did a couple more rows of the field and EM even got to steer the tractor. Farmer Ian had to straighten us up a couple of times, but EM couldn't stop smiling
The Farmer claimed to have never had a towny stop to watch him, and we wouldn't have stopped if we hadn't been in the area caching!
This cache is for the memories!
