This cache is winter friendly but not snow friendly. Any more then a dusting of snow will make it quite a bit harder. This cache is located in the Brandon Township Community Park. The park includes a sledding hill, pavilions, and new playground equipment with ample parking. They have also added porta potties and grills. Bring the kids let them play while you seek the caches then grill a burger a two. The hours of the park are 8:30 a.m. to 9:30p.m. Please put the cache back as you found it.. The cache is placed with the permission from trustees on the township board.
They finished the walk way through the Tree Library and with the exception of the the cache itself, all stages can be viewed from the walk way. The cache is pretty straight forward, locate the tree and find the number and put it in the co-ordinates. There will be 6 stops for the six individual numbers you need. This cache can take as little 20 minutes or as long as over an hour as you set the pace.
The co-ordinates listed will take you to the beginning of the Tree Library, simply follow the walk way and when it splits you can go either way. It is a big loop around the Tree Library.
