St Ethelbert's church was built in 1865 and has a tower with a saddleback top. Inside, you can see a memorial on the south wall to the son of a squire killed in France during WW1 as well as the artwork of the Rev Whalley. In the north aisle, there is a collection of material relating to the Czech and Polish air crew who flew in WW2 from East Wretham airfield. In the north east corner of the churchyard are the graves of 12 Czech and 2 Polish airmen. There is also a memorial commemorating villagers who fell in different wars outside the church gate.
The church is usually kept locked but the church warden lives nearby if you want to look inside. Her details are on the porch gate.
You do not have to enter the church grounds to find the cache.
