The Cache
Welcome to another in the GSM series. The cache is in a group of trees at the southern end of the Port Elliot tennis courts in Augusta Square. There is easy parking nearby. The hide is a little harder than the original location, please ensure you cover it well. You are looking for a un-themed cache about the size of an apple. The original log book remains, feel free to sign the new log sheet instead. Congrats to SpeedyJK for the FTF.
Tennis
The local club was established in 1914, and boasts 6 hard courts on a beach front environment. You can hear the waves crashing and the toot of the cockle train passing as you enjoy a game of tennis.
Just before this cache was published, Australian Ashleigh Barty become the first Australian woman in 43 years to reach the top of the singles rankings after she won the Birmingham Classic grass court title in June 2019. Go Aussie.
