This cache is just off of the bike trail at Big Woods Recreational Area. This trail is one of my favorites in the Cedar Valley. It was a part of the loop that my Dad and I used to ride. My last cache was also placed along our old loop.
The cache is no more than 15 feet off of the trail. Don't spend a lot of time looking down as it should sheltered/stuck well enough to stay where it is at. If you have tweezers handy, it may be helpful in getting to log removed from the cache. Please ensure the rubberband is done up well when replacing so that the log does not get stuck in the cache. Bring your own pen.
I highly recommend bug spray as once you stop on the trail, the mosquitoes come at you full force!
