Geocache Description:

Huntingdale Railway Station and Bus Exchange is on the Djerring trail that is now a walking/ bike track that extends 17 km from Eastlink to Caulfield Station following the Dandenong Railway line. At this point, a number of buses link up the transport system to get commuters to other locations that are not serviced by the railway line directly such as Monash University. So here, they stare at their smartphones - possibly read a newspaper and have a hot coffee and maybe breakfast in the morning. It is here that this short Multicache has been placed to assist the cache commuters.

I am honored that this cache has been nominated for 2019 awards - Best Multi Geocache of 2019.

The published coordinates will bring you close to a bus shelter where you find the required information to find GZ.  - This is the sign you need to find although the numbers have been substituted for letters. You will have to look at the cache page in order to see the photo below with the clues.

The Cache can be found at -

South        E Z  (L+C) O.  (X-H) V X

East   (Y-a) L (S-L)  QG. T W (P-J)

South Co-ordinates sum to 41. East Co-ordinates sum to 25

At GZ, enter cache area from the path side  ( might get dirty) - try not to disturb the entrance too much. Watch for muggles. If you are alone, you should be hidden from view. If in a group, a watcher may be a good idea.

Once you have found the cache,  you will now have to find the log.

YOU DO NOT need to MOVE the cache, you do NOT NEED to dismantle it.

The log is amongst the contents of the cache. You will find a pencil for the log but the log IS NOT with the pencil. -  There is a myki card for the year for FTF  (no - only joking) actually there is a medal. - and that went to n0w0rries who took bus  525 home with the myki card.

Please reassemble the contents of cache as best as you can when you have finished. Hopefully, the way you found it set up. Then, close the cache for the next finder. Time your exit from the area.

(You don't need to "touch off" when you leave !)

If you liked this style of cache then there is a Traditional cache close to the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island that has been published. It's a beautiful walk when you are down there sometime.
