The Scouts (BSA) "Cache to Eagle" series is a National program to highlight past Eagle Scout projects. This is the thirteenth and final cache for the Chester County Council (CCC) BSA Cache to Eagle series, celebrating our council's 100th anniversary on January 17th, 2019!
Once you find the cache, it will give you the instructions to proceed to the gadget. The gadget is available during daylight hours, about 8 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
This WVTim inspired Smart Gadget cache requires 4 AA batteries. Boy scouts will have no problem answering the questions that follow. For everyone else, Google is your friend. And remember, order matters! Fear not if you get the answers wrong, you'll get a chance to start over. Scouts are Persistent! It's the law.
Special note (7/2020)! This cache has moved temporarily, while we build the new CCC BSA Headquarters, PARC, along Rt. 30 in Exton.
Note: If you get one of the questions wrong (remember order matters) or you accidently double-press a button, the questions start over. Half-dead batteries cause erratic behavior.
Cache is at a private scout residence. Please park in the street and walk up the drive. You can't miss it. If you've completed all 13 CCC Cache To Eagle geocaches, patches are available from the scouts here, or bring your answers to the scout shop at Camp Ware. Please call 610-524-8742.
Replace the cache and gadget exactly as found. Push the log container back into the tube until it latches. If you have difficulty with any part, contact the CO (Cache Owner), CCCCacheToEagle. Don't forget to write down the keywords found in each cache of the series.
This geocache is placed thanks to the Chester County Council Scouts BSA. This cache location and hide style is placed by request of and with permission of the land manager.
This is one of 13 caches in the Chester County Council Cache to Eagle series, highlighting dozens of Eagle projects and Chester County Council BSA Headquarters. Collect the keywords from all 13 caches and visit Council Headquarters to obtain a patch commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Chester County Council, BSA (while supplies last). Headquarters hours are now M-S 10 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Download the Chester County Cache to Eagle Passport here. Use this form to collect the 13 keywords from the 13 CCC Cache to Eagle caches. Take your completed form to the Chester County Council Scouts BSA Headquarters to exchange it for the commemorative patch.
Congratulations to Stews Crew, not only for the FTF on this cache, but for the first FTF on the whole CCC Cache to Eagle series!
Congrats to BainbridgeKid and Pineapple King, the first scouts to complete the entire CCC Cache to Eagle series! No one needed Google in this crowd.
