This is an easy hike down the Winooski River... Different trails showing a lot of interesting foliage and wildlife...
The easiest way to get to this cache is to come from Winooski or the St. Michael's College side of Colchester and finding your way from there..... There is a parking area within 1/4 mile from the cache...
This cache is an ammo box filled with lots of goodies including toy, dog toy, Vermont Expos baseball, Rick's Hard Lemonade bottle opener, carabiner keychain, spider-man wrist squirter, flourescent rubber ball.. and another thing or two...
During the hunt you come across a Lake Champlain Birding trail.. you will also be near a private game reserve where you can find Deer, Moose, wild Turkey, as well as many types of birds.
About an hour before dusk, there's a good chance to see some wildlife at these locations not far from the cache:
