This is a letterbox cache which contains a rubber stamp and a logbook inside a small plastic container, which remain in the letterbox. Stamp your personal log book with the letterbox stamp. and use your own stamp to stamp the letterbox log book. Or simply sign the log book, and then place it back in the letterbox. Whichever you choose, please , do it in conjunction with further instructions below. Please return all to the letterbox as found.

It is a public building operated by the local council, which they describe as:
a public exhibition space located centrally in Tambo and is free to visit. The front facade of the building references a historical shop that occupied this site in earlier times. The gallery is the only Council-supported, purpose-built, climate controlled facility within a 300km radius, extending from Longreach to Roma. The gallery has a contemporary cool and inviting exhibition area that has a running space of 40 metres. It has a rotating exhibition program of locally produced and curated displays, regional artists and touring exhibitions. The gallery programming is managed by the Tambo Arts Council in a collaboration with the Blackall-Tambo Regional Council's Arts and Cultural Officer.
We have been given permission by the gallery curator to hide a locked geocache at the back of the building.
The gallery itself is open Monday to Friday between 8.30 am and 4.45pm, but is closed weekends, unfortunately.
If you are there outside those hours, FORGET IT!
To obtain the unlock code for the cache, you need to find three numbers:
- Number of steps up at the front of the building
- Number of florescent (LEDs) lights in the ceiling of the foyer
- The number of ceiling mounted air conditioning units in the main Gallery area
The cache itself is located under the platform in the courtyard at the back of the gallery.
