Team Noltex is going to ride their bikes on the Chehalis-Western Trail on Saturday, July 20. But first, we'll have a half hour event in the trail access parking lot behind Pacific Cataract and Laser, 115 New View Ct NE, in Lacey. The parking lot is at the posted coords just off of Martin Way. We can talk about bikes, we can talk about caching, or we can talk about caching on bikes. After the event, we'll probably go and do some of those things if you'd like to join us. As is common with a Team Noltex event, though, we'll just enjoy standing around a parking lot talking.
The Chehalis-Western trail runs both north and south from this location for about 10 miles in either direction. Since it's built on the old railroad bed, it is very flat, very wide and nicely paved. It doesn't matter if you haven't ridden a bike in many years, we will likely stop often for short breaks, maybe as often as every tenth of a mile or so!
