The Planets: Mars #4
Note: Cache is not at posted coordinates.
The fourth planet in our solar system, Mars, is also the second smallest in the solar system too. In English, Mars carries a name of the Rom god of war, and is often referred to as the "Red Planet" because of the iron oxide. Mars is a terrestrial planet with a thin atmosphere. The days and seasons are likewise comparable to those of Earth, because the rotational period as well as the tilt of the rotational axis relative to the eliptical plane are very similar. Mars consists of minerals containing silicon and oxygen, metals, and other elements that typically make up rock. Mars has two polar ice caps. During a pole's winter, it lies in continuous darkness, chilling the surface and causing the deposition of 25–30% of the atmosphere into slabs of CO2 ice. With about 55 different missions to mars, We have discovered alot about this planet and the abillity to inhabit it. it takes mars roughly about 39 mins more to rotate 360 degrees (relative to earths). It takes mars 687 earth days to revolve once around the sun. Mars also has 2 moons, Phobos and Deimos. Now that we have covered the basics lets get on to the cache!
