Welcome to Tambo. Tambo is a one hours drive South of Blackall and some geocachers might have elected to drive directly here. Most of us will be taking the 300 Kilometer ( approximately) drive to get here exploring some very different country and participating in the Wherigo, Multi and the Letterbox trail.
Come and join in the fun at Tambo's FIRST ever Geocaching event. Tambo is one of Queensland's oldest towns. It is a great little town, with a population of only 350 people, but they make up for that by having big hearts.
There are a couple of Geocachers living in town and it would be a good opportunity to meet them, say hello and give some encouragement to them, and by Event time, there should be more. After the event, we are hanging around for the Chicken Racing, It's hilarious. Dinner is available afterwards if you are interested.
Where:- At the Royal Carrangarra Hotel, 25 Arthur Street tambo at the posted Co Ordnates. Meeting Room out the back.
Note. Even though the event is in a Commercial premises, you are not "required" to purchase and food and/or drink purchase.
