Geocache Description:

Several families built homes before 1850.  Their greatest concern was to obtain the consolations of religion.  The first priest was able to come once or twice a year.  In 1850 Father Tuerk of Booneville was able to visit them on a week-day to miniser to their spiritual needs.  Finally in 1877 the first resident pastor came to the people.  It is still an active congregation at this time.  Permission has been granted to place this cache.  The actual cache is SE of the actual Cemetery and Church.  Because of this in the event there is a service going on you will probably be able to retrieve the cache.  It is on a count road so there is ample parking.  Be reverent in while in the area.
