IMPORTANT! Cache history and reminders
This cache has moved about 300 feet north of its previous location(s). Prior to August 2026 it was south of Pine, now it is on the north side. This cache is on its 4th iteration, I've had to evolve it several times since originally being placed in July 2019 due to frequest theft. This is a high foot traffic area so please please please use your best stealth when retrieving and replacing.
WHO IS LOUDSHOPPER?
Brad Boultinghouse aka LOUDSHOPPER was a Capitol Hill / Seattle resident from 2013-2019 when Nordstrom transferred him from the east coast to headquarters. Fashion was his passion and he worked in handbags, menswear, and managing Top Shops from the Carolinas up through New Jersey. Seattle became his forever home where many of his east coast Nordies also planted roots. Capitol Hill was his playground, social butterflying from bar to restaurant to event to bar and back again nearly every weekend. Brad passed away unexpectedly in on June 4, 2019 while recovering from a routine medical procedure. His boisterous and unique presence is still so missed but we see him everywhere and as long as the memories remain, so does he.
He met his husband Sam in 2015 just a block away from this cache at Linda's, which is why this spot was chosen. We love you LOUDSHOPPER.
If you enjoy this cache consider visitng the cache placed in honor of Brad's kitty, Miss Pony in White Center.
