Geocache Description:


율하천은 과거 밤나무가 많았다하여 불리우게 된 율하동 주변에 흐르는 하천이다.

율하천은 크게 2구역으로 나눌 수 있는데, 상류인 매여동 - 용계동 구간은 계곡의 형태를 띄고 있고, 하류인 용계동 - 율하동 구간은 산책로, 자전거 도로가 강둑에 조성되어 있다.

특히나 하류는 금호강에 조성되어 있는 산책로와 이어지는데,이는 대구 동구민들의 좋은 산책로로 애용되고 있다.
