The Hellfighters movie was released in November, 1968. John Wayne starred in this movie about firefighters fighting oil field fires. It was the first movie that F saw in the new Last Mountain Theatre in Lanigan. Prior to that, any movies were shown on the screen in the old Lanigan Town Hall, now home to Lanigan Dance Dynamics. The Last Mountain Theatre is no longer standing.
