Double-boxed log sheets in an attractive 30 ml screw-top tube.
One of a linear mini-series of 6 caches that will take you on a pleasant walk, or cycle ride, through new residential areas of Broadbridge Heath along Mill Lane - a popular bridleway - that eventually leads to Baystone Bridge where it crosses (or, for a longer outing, provides access to) the Downs Link trail. Shortly thereafter the bridleway ends at Weston's Hill.
The trip out and back from #1 to #6 is roughly 3.5 km and can, of course, be done starting from either end though starting at the Weston's Hill end will add about 800 m. to the walk or ride.
This lane / bridleway is frequented by cyclists and dog-walkers so please be discrete when searching for and replacing the caches, particularly the three caches at the residential Broadbridge Heath end.
Re parking, there is space for a few cars on residential roads near #1 in Broadbridge Heath or on the first 100 m. of the lane / bridleway where Weston's Hill becomes Fulford's Road. Please do NOT attempt to drive further along the lane past Baystone Bridge as it gets narrow while providing access to several farms and homes with no acceptable places to park.
