BluesHarp: It's with a sad heart that I mark this cache as gone. Out hiking on my birthday, doing some cache maintenance, and it appears that the good folks at Rock Creek Station where battling the encroaching cedar trees on the prairie area ... where once was a cache is now a pile of cut cedars. We dug around in the pile hoping to find the cache container, but couldn't get deep enough into the pile.
For those of you that enjoyed the cache ... thanks for visiting! For those of you that didn't get a chance ... don't worry, I'll replace it soon ... probably this spring.
This was the first cache I ever placed ... long before the Nebraska Game and Parks folks officially knew what geocaching was. Hopefully the good folks at Rock Creek Station will allow me to replace the cache in the officially prescribed manner per the Game and Parks requirements.
