This is the fifth time I will be hosting an event as I travel to Michigan to visit family. The first was on July 7, 2015, in Kentwood, A California/Michigan Connection. The second was on November 11, 2015, California/Michigan Connection - Portage. On October 9, 2016, I hosted California-Michigan Connection III in Kalamazoo. Last year, California-Michigan Connection - Holland was held on August 10, 2018.
I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new-to-me geocachers. I am inviting as many people as possible to stop by and just say "Hi", exchange travelers or pathtags, and get credit for attending an event. I am hoping that some of those many people just getting into the game will be able to come and meet some of the many experienced geocachers in the Grandville area and surrounding communities. "It's not about the numbers. It's about the places you get to go and the people you get to know."
