Embden Pond is located in Embden, ME in Somerset County. It is roughly 3.5 miles long, 1 mile wide, and shaped like your right arm.
Being my first cache hide, I wanted to find a very special place to hide it. Our family has a camp on the East Shore Rd and we enjoy canoeing over to the pond's only island to look for turtles and enjoy the beautiful scenery, while also getting in a work out. From the boat launch where you park this will be a long paddle for canoeists and kayakers so come prepared with water and snacks. I have hidden the cache in a natural hiding spot. Once you find it, please take a minute and log the logbook.
Please be respectful by not disturbing the land and pack out anything that you may bring with you. Also no fires!
