Welcome to the third of the Headwires series, a series of caches that'll bring you to drawn out, and somewhat peaceful parts of the city. The following cache is located in a park that I happened to have discovered as I walked around one day in the area. It's right by Leaside and Thorncliffe Park, and very accesible by car, foot or transit. Just be sure to bring a water bottle, some bug spray and sunscreen just in case, you never know when it'll come to use. This is also the first of the Only in Dreams series, a series of caches bringing you to areas that either express a dreamlike quality to them, or do relate to dreams LITERALLY from the CO's experience. This cache pertains to the former, as I find this cache brings you near a great vista point of the downtown skyline, which although hampered by electrical infrastructure, looks amazing nontheless....it's inane how much this city grows every year into the sky. Also, the impressive Thorncliffe skyline is shown from near this GZ.
Anyways, this cache is simple enough, although some bushwacking is neccessary. I have a slight fear of vines...they really give me the heeby-jeebies and so placing this was not as fun as I hoped it would be, partly because red ants are also highly prevalent in this area. Just take care as you look for this one.
