This cache is NOT located at the posted coordinates. It was placed for a RIGA event that was part of the Mystery at the Museum geocaching challenge from 11 July - 11 August 2019. Follow the directions below to piece together the final coordinates and then you will have the mystery cache’s location! FYI - solving this puzzle may be difficult using a smart phone.
A travesty has occurred at our geo-museum and someone has acquired the FTF prize in an unscrupulous way - by taking out all the other cachers by using their TOTTs! Your task is to determine which one of these cachers is the culprit, what TOTT they used and what room location they were in when they committed the unthinkable crime. You must first find and scan the 5 different Mystery at the Museum (MatM) codes located on this page.
From each of these scans, you should “collect” :
- A Suspect card
- A TOTT card
- A Room Location card
When you discover a card, you are to eliminate that option on your Detective Notepad which is included in the Image Gallery. After scanning all five MatM codes, you will have only one Suspect, one TOTT, and one Location NOT checked off of your list. Only then will you know: WHO stole the FTF? With WHAT TOTT? And, WHERE did it happen?
So, to find the final coordinates for this Mystery Cache:
- First find and scan the 5 different MatM codes
- Check off the information you find at these caches on your Detective Notepad
- Identify the remaining cards and retrieve the corresponding numbers from the list below
Piece together the three parts to determine the final coordinates below:
N 41° ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___ W 071° ___ ___ . ___ ___ ___
