Welcome to ‘The Hidden Walkway’!
This cache is located in Finaghy, on a shortcut between the Benmore Estate and the Upper Lisburn Road. This path is smooth and wheelchair accessible. I would guarantee only 1 in 5 people living in this Estate know this shortcut exists. The cache is a small sample tube, magnetically attached, your own writing implement is not recommended, but required! There isn’t much concern about stealth in this path, just have a quick no one in the house nearby is looking out their window. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this cache outside of daylight as the path has no working streetlights, and their is a small chance that hoods may be hanging out here. Car parking is recommended inside the estate, there is loads of on-street parking at and close-by the parking co-ordinates given. Please note that the rule of ‘No Sign No Find’ is in operation. Also be careful as this path can get quite overgrown if approaching from the Upper Lisburn Road, so I would recommend coming from the estate enterance. Thorns are around GZ, so please be careful!
