Thirteenth cache of the Beacon Hill series:
When I was younger, I used to play soccer on these pitches and sometimes still do. In the soccer season there can be lots of people around playing soccer and in the off season, lots just having a good time. The pitches can get very muddy when it rains and people play on them. At lunch times during school the Beacon Hill PS kids come out here to play some sport so I wouldn't reccommend attempting to find the cache at those times.
Parking is available in abundance. You can park at the carpark at the end of Ben Love Place, find street parking on Kerry Close or park on some other street if there is no parking left.
You can go to GZ by either going and following a small trail behind the toilets and then heading off into the bush or you could bush bash from the soccer pitch through the tall grass-like plants. The cache is not located in amoungst the main strip of tall grass like plants but next to a big tree and I think only three of the plants. I would NOT reccommend bush bashing through these plants as there might be snakes, the plants can also actually cut and hurt and the trail you make will damage the nature, possibly also bring muggles to GZ>
The cache is hidden next to South Creek so be mindful of young children (the cache is quite a bit away from the creek). There might be a bit of a bush bash needed but not as big / hard as some of my other caches. Watch out for animal droppings as I found a few on the way in and on the way out.
The cache is a camoed 1 litre sistema container (basically a counterpart of Beacon Hill #6 - South Creek) with room for swag and trackables that aren't too big. The cache also contains a logbook and a pen but BYO pen or pencil incase the pen is missing or has run out of ink.
Please replace the cache as found with the camo and enjoy the hunt!
