Welcome to our Freaky Things series. These caches a placed along the Apollo Bay Foreshore walk, starting at the Surf Club and ending at Wild Dog Road. It’s a 2.5km walk along the beautiful Apollo Bay.
Let me tell you a bee story. Many years ago some friends and we considered buying a trailer sailer. We went to inspect the boat and mere mail and Lumpy J climbed on board only to discover a rather large bee hive in the bow of the boat. After disturbing them and making them rather angry we were worried we were in trouble. Well we weren’t, but Lumpy R and mere male’s partner copped the full brunt of their fury! Of course they got lots of sympathy as we stood safely on the boat watching them trying to escape the bees!
