Fifteenth cache in the Beacon Hill series:
The Beacon Hill Rural Fire Brigade plays an important role in keeping us safe. The most notable practise you have probably seen them carrying out is back-burning. Back burning involves starting small fires along a man-made or natural firebreak in front of a main fire front. Back burning reduces the amount of fuel that is available to the main fire by the time that it reaches the burnt area. You might find this annoying but it is an important part of keeping us and or belongings safe.
The cache is hidden close the the brigade but not on the property. It is hidden in the bush next to it. To access the cache you will need to park somewhere, cross the small creek and then look at the spoiler photo to find the right tree and then search. The cache itself is a themed geocache only containing a log inside 2 zip-lock bags. Please replace the log into the zip-lock bags once you have signed the log. Replace the cache in the same spot the the camo that hid it to stop muggles finding it.
Please enjoy the cache!
